Government Issues Q1 Report on EMV's Executive Program for 393 Projects

Amman, May 20 (Petra) -- The Government Performance and Achievement Follow-up Unit at the Prime Ministry released the first-quarter 2026 report on the executive program for the Economic Modernization Vision (EMV) 2026-2029.

The report outlines key achievements across the vision’s 8 growth drivers and highlights progress in implementing economic and sectoral projects aimed at boosting economic growth, stimulating investment, improving service quality and enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy.

According to the report, the first quarter of 2026 marked an "important" stage in completing implementation requirements for the program, which includes 393 projects.

The report also noted continued work on institutional and regulatory procedures, project preparation and strengthened coordination among government entities, the private sector and international partners.

This process aimed to accelerate implementation during upcoming phases, as progress becomes "more evident in the second quarter." As for future steps, the report noted the government continues to implement the EMV's targets through an institutional approach focused on achievement and impact measurement, while strengthening integration among government entities and effective partnership with the private sector.

The report said these efforts are expected to improve services, stimulate growth and strengthen Jordan’s regional and international competitiveness.
